FIT LIBRARY · LEGS

Bow legs,
drafted properly.

A vertical crease runs up the outside of the leg with pressure at the calf.

Short answer

The side seam is curved and the leg tube re-balanced so the crease falls straight again.

Why it happens

The leg curves outward from the thigh down.

Why ready-to-wear cannot fix it

Size charts grade uniformly; bow legs is a personal geometry. A block adjusted in one place pulls in another — which is why the correction must exist in the pattern, not in the fitting-room mirror.

How the house drafts for it

The side seam is curved and the leg tube re-balanced so the crease falls straight again. The correction is recorded in your Fit Passport, so every later commission starts from it automatically.

Where it matters most

This correction carries most for: trousers. It is reviewed at every fitting, in every city, for every garment.
