CARE & WEAR · FAQ

How should I store suits between seasons?.

Short answer

Clean at season’s end, store on shaped hangers in a breathable garment bag, give each garment room, and keep the space cool and dry. Cedar and lavender are traditional deterrents — moth protection matters for wool.

Wire hangers — really never?+

Really never. They concentrate the jacket’s weight at two points and undo the shoulders the house spent hours setting.

Is a vacuum bag acceptable?+

For wool, no — natural fibres need to breathe. A cotton garment bag in a dry, stable space is the honest answer.

How long should a Made-to-Measure suit last?+

A decade or more with rotation and care — which is precisely the arithmetic that makes bespoke the economical choice over time.
