Choose cloth for the places and seasons where you expect to wear these black tie & tuxedos. Ask the tailor about fibre, weight, weave and care for the specific options; a city's name alone does not determine the right cloth.
Midnight blue grosgrain or silk-face wool as the default; unlined constructions for warm-weather rooms, and a proper midnight for the northern ball season.
Two windows mean two cloth conversations: breathable four-season wool for the spring sitting, and something with more chest for October — flannel, tweed, and the first overcoat talk.
