CLOTH & CRAFT · FAQ

How are the suits constructed?.

Short answer

Garments are cut from your personal pattern and crafted at our Bangkok atelier with the interior construction your commission specifies — from lightly structured unlined jackets to a fuller chest with canvas — agreed at the fitting.

What does canvassing mean in practice?+

The interior layer that gives a jacket its chest and roll. More canvas gives shape that improves with wear; unlined jackets give lightness for travel and heat. Your tailor recommends per garment.

How many hours go into a jacket?+

House standards involve hours of hand finishing across cutting, basting and closing — the honest number depends on the cloth and model rather than a marketing figure.

Who makes the garments?+

The atelier team in Bangkok, working to the pattern and notes taken at your fitting. This is craft employment with fair terms — see responsible making.
