A travelling tailor meets clients during individually arranged city visits, while production takes place at the house’s workshop. For Bonturberg, that workshop is in Bangkok. Start with your city and garment; wait for the exact date, venue and appointment plan to be confirmed before travelling.
The fitting process in five steps
- Enquire: send your city, garment, occasion date and delivery destination.
- Confirm the appointment: agree the date, venue, length and any applicable fee.
- Review cloth and measurements: discuss the real swatch, posture, movement and preferred details with the tailor.
- Accept a written quote: review garments, currency, total, payment schedule and the delivery plan.
- Review after delivery: follow the accepted order’s process for reporting a fit concern or arranging an adjustment.
What to bring
Bring the shirt and shoes you intend to wear, the invitation’s dress code where relevant, and a reference garment showing what fits well or needs attention. If you are a returning customer, identify the previous order and mention changes in measurements or comfort. A saved record still needs review for the new commission.
Where the garment is made
Bonturberg produces garments at its Bangkok atelier. The fitting city and delivery address can be different. Ask how the order moves between measurement, production and handover, including any further fit checks required for the selected garment.
What a proposed city visit means
The proposed 2027 programme lists planning windows. It does not confirm a local office, specific day, venue or available appointment. Review current fitting trips; for an unlisted city, register city interest through Priority Pass. Registration takes no payment and does not reserve a fitting.
Before paying
Confirm the selected garment and cloth, fitting method, agreed total, destination costs, delivery schedule and adjustment terms in writing. Appointment length and production time depend on the actual order; a general process guide is not a delivery promise.
