If your day moves from outdoor travel to air-conditioned rooms, describe the time spent in each rather than asking for the lightest-looking suit. Compare lining, jacket structure and cloth weave alongside fit. Check comfort when seated and reaching, and say whether the garment must also work on trips to cooler destinations.
For a formal dinner or wedding, bring the exact dress code and intended shirt and shoes. Compare lapel shape, trouser finish and colour as a complete outfit. A dark business suit does not automatically meet black tie, and a photograph of a velvet or satin detail cannot confirm the specification of the available cloth.
CLOTH & CONSTRUCTION
Ask the tailor to compare the actual weave, fibre content and lining for your usage. Screen brightness can make a dark fabric look lighter or change its apparent sheen. Use the reference images to shortlist questions, then check the physical sample and the approved garment specification before making a choice.
