Short answer
Begin two to three months before the wedding where possible. Most two-piece commissions take around six to eight weeks from approved measurements and deposit, with the exact schedule confirmed in writing for your cloth and destination. Under eight weeks, ask for a date check before deciding; ready-to-wear with a skilled local alterations tailor may be the safer choice.
Two to three months out: the commission
Share the wedding date, location and dress code at the enquiry stage. The house can then check cloth availability, the proposed city window and the delivery schedule together. Any alteration route and applicable charge follow the written terms for your package.
Before you commit
Your written quotation gives the planned delivery date for the selected cloth and destination. Leave time to try the finished garment and discuss any adjustment before the wedding; the route, timing and cost are confirmed against your order terms.

The house has turned around commissions faster for genuine emergencies, but a wedding is the wrong place to test that: book the calendar early, or buy smart late. Both are respectable; pretending otherwise is not.
Planning a real wedding? The house fits grooms and their parties across Europe on the proposed 2027 programme — bring the date and the venue photographs to the first fitting, and the calendar is planned backwards from the day.
