FITTING ROUTE
Start with the appointment route
The proposed 2027 programme includes Sydney, Melbourne. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Use the example closest to your plans, then tell the tailor what differs for you.
01
A warm-weather wedding without guessing the cloth
For an outdoor ceremony, bring the location, time of day and any venue dress code. Compare lighter fabric directions with the lining and structure needed for the silhouette you want. A light fabric can still feel restrictive if the pattern or construction is wrong, so discuss comfort while seated and moving as well as the garment’s appearance.
02
A work suit for travel between settings
If your work changes between office meetings, client visits and travel, identify the most formal setting first. Decide whether a matching suit is essential or whether a jacket and separate trousers would be more useful. Show the tailor your regular shoes and shirts so jacket length, trouser break and colour choices work with real outfits.
CLOTH & CONSTRUCTION
Compare the actual reference
The month of the fitting may differ from the season of wear. Give the event date and whether the garment will be used indoors, outdoors or overseas. Compare physical wool and linen directions and ask about weave, lining and care; catalogue names alone do not confirm the composition of the available cloth.
Photographed swatches are cloth references. The physical sample confirms colour, composition and availability before production.
State Sydney or Melbourne, preferred appointment dates and the delivery address. If you are arranging a destination wedding outside Australia, give that location separately. Identify whether you need the whole outfit or only a jacket, trousers or shirt, so the first quotation covers the actual commission.
Ask for the written AUD price with the selected garment, cloth, shipment route and destination charges. Confirm any delivery or import handling before production. If your date is fixed, ask which steps need to be completed by which point; this guide cannot establish a delivery deadline for an unconfirmed order.
Is a local Bonturberg fitting in Australia confirmed?
The proposed 2027 programme includes Sydney, Melbourne. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Does a lightweight suit always mean less lining?
No. Cloth weight, weave, lining and jacket construction each affect comfort and appearance. Ask the tailor to compare the available options for your event setting and the silhouette you prefer, using the actual swatches and order specification.
Where will my garment be made?
Production takes place at the Bangkok atelier in Thailand. The fitting location, garment specification, measurement checks, delivery destination and schedule are confirmed for your order.
What should I confirm before paying?
Ask for the garment and cloth, agreed currency and total, destination fees, payment schedule, delivery plan and any fitting or adjustment terms. A guide price or enquiry is not an accepted order.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Share your city, occasion and deadline
Send the brief so the house can review the route and garment with you. An enquiry takes no payment; wait for the individual confirmation before making plans.
