Preparing a wedding suit in Helsinki
Start with the invitation’s dress code, ceremony date and the shirt and shoes you will wear. This guide concerns tailored suits and coordinated wedding outfits. A bridal dress is a separate garment enquiry; send a reference and ask whether that specific design can be considered before relying on a fitting or price. Review the actual womenswear collection for available silhouettes.
FITTING ROUTE
Start with the appointment route
The proposed 2027 programme includes Helsinki. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Use the example closest to your plans, then tell the tailor what differs for you.
01
A first formal suit for a ceremony
For a ceremony or graduation, ask the organiser which dress code applies before choosing a suit. Bring the shirt, shoes and any accessories you intend to use. If you hope to wear the outfit later at interviews or weddings, compare the cloth and details against those uses too; a single-event reference may be more specific than you need.
02
A suit that works with seasonal layers
If you expect to wear the garment under a coat or with knitwear, show the tailor those layers. Check sleeve movement, jacket length and trouser comfort with your normal footwear. Describe where the outfit will be worn indoors as well as outside; a winter fitting date does not automatically mean the finished suit should use the heaviest cloth.
CLOTH & CONSTRUCTION
Compare the actual reference
Compare the physical samples for drape and texture, then ask about the chosen cloth’s fibre content, weight and care. If the garment needs to cover several occasions, identify the most important one before trading formality for softness or warmth. Lining and construction should be part of that conversation, not an assumption based on a fabric title.
Photographed swatches are cloth references. The physical sample confirms colour, composition and availability before production.
The published Helsinki window is proposed. State whether you can attend there or want Tampere, Turku or another city considered. Include the ceremony date and final delivery address, plus any fit issue with an existing suit. Let the team know your preferred response language before arranging the appointment.
Ask for the full EUR amount for the selected garments, cloth and destination, together with the delivery and adjustment plan. A country-level price guide does not confirm the availability of a particular fabric or appointment. Keep a copy of the written order and the confirmed garment brief for any later fit discussion.
Is a local Bonturberg fitting in Finland confirmed?
The proposed 2027 programme includes Helsinki. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Should my suit be chosen for the fitting month or the event month?
Choose for when and how the finished garment will be worn. Tell the tailor the event date, venue and any later uses. The proposed fitting month helps route planning but does not determine the appropriate cloth.
Where will my garment be made?
Production takes place at the Bangkok atelier in Thailand. The fitting location, garment specification, measurement checks, delivery destination and schedule are confirmed for your order.
What should I confirm before paying?
Ask for the garment and cloth, agreed currency and total, destination fees, payment schedule, delivery plan and any fitting or adjustment terms. A guide price or enquiry is not an accepted order.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Share your city, occasion and deadline
Send the brief so the house can review the route and garment with you. An enquiry takes no payment; wait for the individual confirmation before making plans.
