A suit fitting process you can check
Send your garment, Seoul availability, occasion date and preferred response language. The house reviews the appointment route; if confirmed, discuss cloth, measurements, posture and the written order. Production takes place in Bangkok. Ask which fitting checks and follow-up steps your quote includes; a Korean guide does not confirm a Korean-speaking fitting service.
FITTING ROUTE
Start with the appointment route
The proposed 2027 programme includes Seoul. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Use the example closest to your plans, then tell the tailor what differs for you.
01
A silhouette that looks balanced on you
If you are using a photograph as a style reference, identify the details you want: jacket length, shoulder shape, waist definition or trouser width. Explain which parts are essential and which are styling. Ask the tailor to test that direction with your posture and movement; copying the image’s outline does not guarantee the same result on another wearer.
02
A wedding outfit for photographs and the full day
For a wedding commission, describe the ceremony, reception and any separate photo session. Bring the shoes and shirt you intend to wear, and check comfort seated as well as standing. Decide whether you want a distinctive occasion outfit or a suit that will later work in meetings before settling on cloth and details.
CLOTH & CONSTRUCTION
Compare the actual reference
Compare how the actual cloth appears in daylight and under indoor lighting, especially if photographs matter to the brief. Ask about weave, fibre, lining and care rather than choosing by a screen tone alone. A digitised swatch narrows the reference; the tailor must confirm the physical cloth and its availability.
Photographed swatches are cloth references. The physical sample confirms colour, composition and availability before production.
Seoul has a proposed city page. State whether you can attend there or need another location considered, plus your event date and delivery address. Mention your preferred response language before arranging the conversation. The Korean phrase is a terminology aid; it does not establish Korean-speaking staff or a separate local atelier.
Ask for the accepted KRW quotation or another expressly agreed currency, with the garments, cloth and destination fees identified. Confirm the measurement route and any post-delivery adjustment process before committing. Production is at the Bangkok atelier, so the fitting proposal and the manufacturing location are different parts of the order.
Is a local Bonturberg fitting in South Korea confirmed?
The proposed 2027 programme includes Seoul. The listed windows are planning information; exact dates, venue and appointment availability are confirmed individually in writing.
Can a style photograph replace the first fitting?
No. It helps communicate silhouette and details, but it does not confirm body measurements, posture or comfort. A first commission needs the measurement checks agreed with the tailor; any photo estimate remains a starting reference until reviewed.
Where will my garment be made?
Production takes place at the Bangkok atelier in Thailand. The fitting location, garment specification, measurement checks, delivery destination and schedule are confirmed for your order.
What should I confirm before paying?
Ask for the garment and cloth, agreed currency and total, destination fees, payment schedule, delivery plan and any fitting or adjustment terms. A guide price or enquiry is not an accepted order.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Share your city, occasion and deadline
Send the brief so the house can review the route and garment with you. An enquiry takes no payment; wait for the individual confirmation before making plans.
